Alexander Global Logistics (AGL), moved two oversized construction machines by low bed trailers from Mongolia's capitol Ulan Bator to the Siberian city of Bratsk. The machines were imported to Mongolia three years ago (by AGL) and were now re-exported to the Russian Federation. In close co-operation by AGL Germany and AGL Mongolia, the following jobs were done: complicated import and re-export customs formalities in Mongolia and Russia, as well as transport, survey, and all other documentation.

Due to the long stay of the machines in Mongolia, all batteries needed to be replaced and the oil of the engines needed to be warmed up before starting the engines.

On the journey from Ulan Bator to Bratsk the cargo needed protection from the elements which ranged between 29°C and -42°C .

All of this was successfully accomplished by the AGL "winter team”.
