Alexander Global Logistics (AGL) just recently moved a set of 4 Diesel Engines on behalf of C.H. Robinson (CHR) from Bremerhaven, Germany to Fremantle Port, Australia. The dimensions of each of the engines were 8,10m x 2,50m x 3,55m with a weight of 54 tons each.
The engines have been moved by low-bed trucks from the supplier’s factory to Bremerhaven’s Ro/Ro Terminal and have been stuffed on 40’Mafi Trailers upon arrival for the sea voyage to Australia.
A very special scope was securing the cargo with appropriate lashing on the trailers to make sure the cargo arrives without any damages at Shipyard in Fremantle. The long voyage was finally performed by Hoegh Ro/Ro vessel “Cattleya Ace”.
Local Cargo Survey in Bremerhaven has been performed by the Surveyor Company Battermann + Tillery, a partner of the Project Logistics Alliance. So all in all, this project was concluded by united triple forces from the network for professionals in the project logistics industry.
The AGL Team appreciates the excellent teamwork!
