AGL Web’s digital scanning tool has been used for the first time at the Port of Szczecin, marking an important step in efficiency and transparency for our customers.
The first scanning of pulp cargo on the vessel MV Maureen S, which arrived in collaboration with DB Terminal, was just completed at end of August. The launch involved AGL Web founder Monique Geisler, our IT Team from “Kutzer Prozessoptimierung”, and Poland Director Maciej and his team, who worked together on-site to ensure a smooth deployment.
This solution has already been successfully used at the Port of Szczecin for shipping cargo by truck and train. With the new web-based tool, our customers now have direct access to the system and full information about their warehouse logistics, including both quantity and quality of their goods.
In addition, the tool enables shipment tracking in compliance with the new EUDR requirements, providing an extra layer of transparency and regulatory compliance. This represents another step toward greater efficiency and convenience in our port operations.
Alexander Maritime Services (AMS), a subsidiary of the AGL Group, operates at the Port of Szczecin, providing semi-line pulp transport from the ports of Flushing and Brake.
