Alexander Global Logistics (AGL) is expanding its technical capabilities at our Bremerhaven facility: With a specially developed spindle attachment, a powerful 5 t Linde E50 forklift, and a 4.5 t capacity spindle mount, we are now able to handle horizontal paper rolls weighing up to 4 tons – safely, efficiently, and with minimal product stress.

Due to their dimensions, these rolls can only be transported lying down – a process that requires both expertise and the right equipment. AGL is one of the few logistics hubs in Northern Germany capable of offering this specialized handling.

Thanks to targeted investments in various spindle models, we can now handle not only roll and bale clamps, but also horizontal cargo with ease. Depending on the type and specification of the roll, this allows for a highly flexible and protective handling process.

As the images show, damage to the rolls during container loading at origin is often caused by improper equipment – typically when using standard forks instead of spindle tools. AGL is closing this gap to ensure your cargo arrives in perfect condition.
