In our most recent move we transported ship loading gear from Antwerp to Fangcheng East Harbor in China. The biggest units measured 20.7 m x 3.6 m x 3.7m and weighed up to 34 tons per piece. Apart from the 3 big ship loading gears, there were also a number of containers which were shipped by AGL.
The whole shipment consisted of approx. 1.000 tons. The special challenge was to find a suitable vessel since this destination is not a regular liner service. However, we needed a smart solution to help our customer avoid extra detention demurrage fees. In the end, we managed to charter a vessel under liner terms, thanks to our chartering experts we found a solution in which all parties involved favored. .
