Each column measures 41.8m x 4.2m x 4.5m and weighs 246 tons. The columns were loaded with special mobile cranes onto heavy-lift barges in Berlin. Upon arrival in Hamburg, the AGL-master-mariners (in-house surveyors) successfully organized the unloading and reloading onto an ocean vessel.

Along with the three large units, the whole lot consisted of several heat exchangers (up to 64 tons) and a number of smaller break-bulk-cases.
