End February AGL fixed the coaster “FILIA ARIEA” for the consolidated cargo consisting if 22 Units Steel Liner +1 Unit Transitition Piece. The coaster was successfully loaded at Unikai Terminal Hamburg within 2 shifts and reached Thorlakshöfn port, Iceland within 8 days transittime.

Unloading of coaster was performed by 2 mobile cranes within 1,5 days and cargo was stored in temporary customs bonded area in the port. After finishing customs clearance the units have been moved in 5 convoys during 5 nights from the port to site Thorlakshöfn. The trucks had to cross snow covered roads, but all went very well and exactly as planned.

All involved parties did a great job and made this project come to a happy end…
