According to recent reports, three container vessels were attacked by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard in the Strait of Hormuz. Two of the vessels, “MSC Francesca” and “Epaminondas,” are reported to have been detained and escorted toward the Iranian coast.

The incidents occurred at separate positions within the Strait, with one vessel reportedly sustaining damage. A third vessel, “Euphoria,” was also targeted.
These events follow the seizure of an Iranian vessel by U.S. forces and come amid rising geopolitical tensions affecting maritime activity in the region.
