From construction to operation – a new chapter in our warehousing activities has officially begun.
Following the successful completion of construction and a testing phase throughout September, Alexander Global Logistics (AGL) officially started full operations at its new Logistics Hub in Bremerhaven in October, 2026.
During September, our team focused on setting up workstations, testing equipment and optimizing operational processes to ensure a smooth transition into daily operations. Even before the official start, approximately 140 containers of cargo had already been stored inside the new facility.
Today, the warehouse is fully operational and ready to support our customers with additional capacity, modern handling technology and efficient logistics solutions.
Ready for Daily Operations
With 20,000 m² of indoor warehouse space and 13,000 m² of heavy-duty container and reachstacker yard. Our new facility significantly expands AGL's warehousing capabilities in Bremerhaven.
The warehouse is equipped with electric forklifts, reachstackers and specialized handling equipment to accommodate different cargo requirements. Also does it features energy-efficient LED lighting and a photovoltaic system designed for a capacity of up to 1.5 MW.
A direct rail connection with covered loading areas for trucks and railway wagons supports efficient cargo movements and flexible transport solutions.
The facility is particularly suited for pulp and paper logistics while also offering storage and handling solutions for general cargo and project cargo.
Strategic Location. Efficient Connections.
Located just 900m from the Bremerhaven Container Terminal, our new Logistics Hub benefits from excellent connections to road, rail and sea transport.
Direct access to the railway network and convenient connections to the A27 motorway allow us to coordinate cargo movements efficiently between the port, warehouse and inland destinations.
Combined with our existing warehousing operations in Bremerhaven, the new facility further strengthens our ability to provide integrated logistics solutions from a single location.
